James D. Beckman, M.D.
Attending Anesthesiologist
Dr. James D. Beckman is a board-certified anesthesiologist, practicing since 1997. Dr. Beckman teaches clinical regional anesthesia, including brachial plexus block techniques, physiology and complications, spinals, epidurals, combined spinal-epidural anesthesia and peripheral nerve blocks for analgesia. Dr. Beckman is a member of the Department's dedicated Spine Team and an expert in management of the difficult airway. Dr. Beckman is also the Director of the Department's Residency and Fellowship Training Programs.
